Short Story Character Paragraph

Kathy here!

I decided the best way to keep in touch with everyone was to make a blog! Robyn thinks it's stupid but her opinions don't count for much.

It amazes me how Tai continually manages to put his foot in his mouth when Sora is near. He will be complaining about the laundry or dishes and Sora will walk in and give him a talking too. Though they aren't my real parents I feel comfortable around them. They're the first step parents who have put up with me for so long.

It also rocks that they are both soccer pros. Since I'm on the regional soccer team they are always practising with me. Tai puts me through the hard drills, while Sora shows me various shooting and passing techniques/plays. Since Robyn is on the regional team as well, Uncle Davis and her usually join our practices.

Uncle Davis claims that he was a star soccer player when he was our age. It's hard for me to believe considering how he always misses the net when trying to score a goal. Robyn obviously did not inherit his soccer abilities. As a team we are unbeatable. Speaking of soccer I'm late for practice! Gotta run I'll keep you posted for more later when I move! Bye everyone !

Mom's Tribute

A Thank you Letter:

For the woman who can put up with me the most, thank you for touching every aspect of my life and making me the generally sane person I am today. Though I am not always the best behaved child you continually love me and show correction when necessary. When I'm in a bad mood and say things I don't mean you're always willing to accept my apologies and give me hugs after. Even though my interests don't always match or suite your own you don't push me away from them and never disapprove of me. Being pushed to the limit is hard to manage, but because you're by my side I'm always less damaged. So thank you again, and all the other mom's out there too, who treat there children with great love and care!

Otaku Games :D

If you're a true otaku (like myself) you must have been introduced into one role playing game once in your life. These things are so addicting and they can control your life!

Thankfully most are only in japanese, (romance wise) but there are a couple of english versions out there. One good one I recommend is Alistair (look it up on google and download it it's great but short.)

-Anime Kingdom (Yuki Fukishima)

55 Word Story (anime kingdoms style :)

School's busy, but all I could think about was Kai.

I've been avoiding him lately, realizing I liked him.
He confronted me in the hallways.

After gazing into his eyes, I confessed my feelings.

He held my hands, "I love you."

Happiness overwhelmed me until I found myself staring at a screen holding a controller.

A Spark of Passion

When I look back now I realize how much anime affected me as a child. Not only did I play those epic make-belief games playing as a pikachu, I also incorporated it into my very person.

Watching Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, and Beyblade formed my personality and taught me valuable qualities that I cherish in life. When I was watching those shows as a kid I just thought
"wow this is cool" and watched it.

When I got older (17) I decided to buy and rewatch the fantastical tales that I fervently dedicated myself to as a child.
(pokemon, first season, 88 episodes...be jelous)

While rewatching these glorious tales things a lot of things came to mind. First the passion, commitment, and never-give-up attitude that then transferred onto the younger me. The affects were first seen at the pool where the younger me started climbing up the high diving board. She was tempted twice to just walk back down, but no! She was not gouing to back down, and she would not let this pool defeat her. So she jumped in at 3 years old causing her parents watching on the sidelines to have a heart attack.

Next the symptoms were noticed during my basketball game. The first season Beyblade song was blarring in my mind as I ran up and down those courts. I thought of Tyson and Kai and their intensity as they were Bey-battling, it transfered to me letting my agression and ball stealing powers spring forth. My compassion for friends and family brought out by Ash Ketchum's love for his pokemon. The way I never backed down from a challenge from a boy in my class just as Ash, Tyson, Tai or Joey wouldn't ever.

These shonens, cartoon, anime's whatever you want to call them taught me values that I want to hold onto even in my life today. Tai's Courage, Ash's compassion, Ray's forgiveness (and tiger like reflexes! Hiyah!) are all things I hold in my heart and I will pass it down to future generations!

(The originals! Not this 5, and 6th generation crap! Why make all these new things anyway... But thats a rant for another day xD )

Yuki ... Something... Fukishima OUT! Blurg blurg blurg
